How can I remove a user from my account?

If a user of your ReSales Online account no longer needs access, or for example, is no longer part of the agency, it is important to update their user account and access.

  • If this user will no longer need the account, best to delete the user account (click here)

  • If it is only temporary - the user account can be set as Inactive and later restored (click here)

To Remove a user from the account, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Click on ⚙️ [My Account] at the top-right of the Home Page

  2. Select the [Users] Tab

  3. Locate the user from the list

  4. Click the ❌ icon next to their name to delete

  5. In the popup window, please select a user to reassign any contact that might be on the account before its deleted.
    (see Screenshot below)

  6. Click Delete

Once completed, this user will be Logged out and no longer be able to access the account.

To temporarily set a user as Inactive on the account, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Click on ⚙️ [My Account] at the top-right of the Home Page

  2. Select the [Users] Tab

  3. Locate the user from the list

  4. Click the ✏️ icon next to their name

  5. In Status, change this from "Active" to "Inactive"

  6. Save

To set a user back as Active on the account, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Click on ⚙️ [My Account] at the top-right of the Home Page

  2. Select the [Users] Tab

  3. Locate the user from the list

  4. Click the ✏️ icon next to their name

  5. In Status, change this from "Inactive" to "Active"

  6. Save

⚠️ Important Notes

  • The ⚙️ [My Account] section can only be accessed by account administrators.

  • [User Access] as per our Terms and Conditions:

    • Member Agents (Administrators) hold the sole responsibility for granting, restricting, or cancelling user access to their ReSales-Online company account.

    • Member Agents (Administrators) will only grant access to ReSales-Online to persons directly employed by their company.

  • Property Details after a User has been deleted

    • Any properties they are assigned as "Viewings Manager" will NOT be updated and will appear as: "NAME - (deleted)"

    • Any properties they are assigned to as "Listed By" will NOT be updated and will appear as: "NAME - (deleted)"

      Please contact our support team if you need assistance updating these.

  • Deleting a user account will also delete any conversation data with ReSales Online support team, which cannot be later retrieved.

  • A User account's Name and/or Surname fields cannot be changed after it has been created, If you have a new member of staff, please setup a new user account.
