NEW Static XML feed for shared resale properties
Updated today

We have created an XML feed that contains the shared properties on the Network that is Static/non-incremental (learn more about what that means here), better still, it can be filtered to control the content of your website!

Our new static XML feed simplifies property management by allowing agents to filter and download all shared listings at once.

⚠️ Please note:

  • This is a new XML feed, any feeds that already exist and are in use will not change and will continue to be supported.

  • This XML feed follows the same Terms and conditions as our existing network property feeds.
Most importantly: This feed can only be used for your own website. It cannot be used with portals or other third-party sites.

Requesting a static XML feed

⚠️ Important: only account administrators can request and access the XML feeds on their account.

To request a static XML feed on your account, please contact Customer Support team via chat to request a 'Static Network feed'.
Please let them know exactly what you need so they can create the correct XML feed on your account

The support team will create the feed on your account and send confirmation with further instructions on where to locate it + how to set it up.

Locating the XML feed

⚠️ Important: only account administrators can access the XML feeds on their account.

The list of active XML feeds on an account can be accessed at any time, by an account admin, in the Left hand menu.

  1. Click on [Properties]

  2. Open the sub menu for [Feed Out]

  3. Select "XML feeds"

Here you will see all the active XML feeds on the account listed, see the following image below as an example:

Locate the Static XML Network section, next to it will be displayed the feed URL and an Edit button on the right hand side.

Feeds created for the first time will need to be Setup before a URL is issued

Set up and Filtering

To setup the Static XML feed for the first time, or, to edit the filter, locate the feed in the Left menu, and click on the Blue Edit icon ✏️ on the right hand side.
(See image above for reference)

The Edit XML feed page will display the filters that can be applied (see image below):

  • Feed Name (optional)

  • Price range

  • Property Type

  • Province (multiple can be added by using the + icon)

  • Locations

  • Property Status

Remember to click Save.

  • If this is the first time setting the filter, a URL will be assigned that can be sent to a web developer to use for your website.

  • If making an Edit, the feed URL will remain the same as before.

What next - how do I use it?

After the Static XML feed has been created, filters configured and saved, you will be assigned a URL that you can provide to your web developer to use to display properties on your own website.
